Privacy and submissions

The short version

We obey the law — but more importantly, we have good intentions. We do not sell, share or abuse your information in any way. You are always in control of what you submit, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

The web can be a dark place. We are not about that.

What we collect

When you submit a camera, we collect the photograph, location and any other details you choose to provide. When you contribute information about a camera, we collect the name or alias you give and whatever you write. Email addresses are optional and used only if we need to follow up with you — never for marketing, never shared.

What gets published

Nothing goes live automatically. Every submission and contribution is reviewed before it appears on the site. Photographs may be edited, cropped or anonymised. We never publish email addresses.

Photographs

Please avoid identifiable people and vehicle number plates. Only submit photographs you took yourself or have permission to share.

Hosting

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps limited technical logs (IP address, browser details, request time) for security purposes. These are not used for tracking or profiling.
