What does it do?

Long-range speed camera capable of detecting offences at distances of up to one kilometre. Used for mobile enforcement from elevated positions overlooking stretches of road. Can identify vehicles across multiple lanes of a motorway.

Documented capabilities

Laser-based speed measurement with a telephoto lens for long-range identification. Captures high-resolution images at distances conventional cameras cannot cover. Typically operated from a bridge, flyover, or elevated roadside position. Can target individual vehicles in heavy traffic.
